To whom it may concern:

Help! I keep getting errors. I have tried lots of things. Most recent error I get is while installing, I get a KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR in WindowsXP while Installing.

I have purchased another motherboard, same as before (Soyo K7 Dragon Plus) and installed it, in fear it might be the motherboard. It was not.

I purchased a new hard drive, in fear that might be the problem, it was not.

Lets start from the beginning. I purchased a barebones plus kit from tigerdirect. It came with a case, soyo k7 dragon plus mother board. 128 MB 2100 DDR, AMD 2000+ XP chip and a smart card reader. I installed my video card (ATI Radeon 32MB SDR (PCI)), floppy drives, 3 hard drives and cd-rom. During use, after a few days, it started prematurely ejecting my hard drives while in use (in windows). I figured maybe too much power drain, so I purchased a 120gig 7200RPM HDD, installed, it still did it. I figured it might have had something to do with the EIDE port on my mobo, so I purchased the same one again, installed it last night. and Now i am getting a blue screen when almost done with the windows xp install, so i switched the hard drive figuring the 120 gig might have been corrupted. Same thing. I am at a loss for words, I have spent alot of money on this and just want it to work. Anyone have any other tests I could perform to isolate where the error is, or any fixes that i may be able to do?

Um.. Can I install these VIA 4 in 1 drivers from DOS? the drivers do not auto-boot from cd in DOS, and I cannot get past the windows xp install.

I got it installed, i guess it was luck that it didnt do the kernel error, but after it was installed, i immediately installed all the drivers on the motherboard's setup disk. It still does the same error as well as now it does the unmountable boot drive error when i start the puter.
