NorthQ Siberian Tiger II Water Cool...
Back at the end of April, I took a look at the NorthQ Siberian Tiger water cooling kit. Today we are taking a look at the Siberian Tiger II water cooling kit, which is the bigger brother due to its use of a 240mm radiator compared to the little brothers 120mm radiator. Will the extra liquid capacity, increased radiator size, and dual 120mm fans give it the edge you're looking for? Well let's jump in and find out.

FSP Everest 700W...

Not too far back, I got my hands on a new version of Fortron-Source's modular take on their Epsilon design, the Everest 900W. You'll recall that model not scoring all too well. I have a confession to make though - my 900W review sample came with a little brother, the Everest 700W. At lower loads, the Epsilon platform tends to do better, so it was only natural that I review the 700W model at some point. That day is here.

Come on in and see the good, the bad, and especially the mediocre of this new take on the Epsilon 700W design.

Fallout 3 Review
Just over a decade since the original Fallout title release, Fallout 3 has finally hit the store shelves just in time for Christmas 2008. For many console gamers, the Fallout series will be a new concept as it's original 2 titles were only available to all the PC gamers out there.

Fallout 3 is an action role-playing game released by Bethesda Game Studios (Creators of the hit game: The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion). It is the third major game in the Fallout series, which has also spawned the spin-offs Fallout Tactics and Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel. @ Pc Freaks & Geeks

IN WIN Na eSATA & USB 2.0 HDD Enclosure
IN WIN is quite well known throughout the world for producing a large range of good quality computer cases and power supplies, but now the Taiwanese company is branching out and trying its hand at some new products. Its retail brand, called IN WIN Style, has released its first hard disk drive enclosure, simply called “Na” – it is pronounced “Nar” in English.

In Chinese, the word “Na” means to contain something; rather fitting you might agree for a hard drive enclosure. Instead of just producing a plain Jane type enclosure like the hundreds out there already on the market, the folks over at IN WIN went out and designed a very tasteful product with plenty of Eastern culture blended into it – and a lot of style! @ TweakTown

Far Cry 2 Hardware Performance Review
While the video card contest is rather trivial, the CPU battleground points out clear strengths and weaknesses. For the most part, multi-core support in the game provides a competitive edge for quad core and tri core processors. Ram as well shows excellent results and showcases one of benefits of opting to go with the DirectX10 API.  Kudos to the Ubisoft Montreal team for creating a game that not only appeals to a larger number of gamers, but can also be played by most all of them without hardware limitations.  @ Hardware Canucks

Antec Signature 650 Power Supply Review
The new Signature Series from Antec is a premium power supply line, which means that products from this series (so far 650 W and 850 W models were launched) have tighter specs. For example, voltage regulation is set at 3% instead of 5% (7% instead of 10% for the -12 V output). Between the lines the manufacturer says this line has a very high efficiency, although on the specs table they list efficiency as "80% minimum". Signature 650, also known as SG-650, features a half modular cabling system and only one 80-mm fan, which the manufacturer says is quieter than other 80-mm solutions. Let's see what is really inside this power supply and why it is so much more expensive than other units. @ Hardware Secrets

GTX 260 V Radeon 4870 (drivers revisited)
Unless someone wants to spend considerable money there are really only two options for gaming enthusiasts, two cards which provide performance high enough to play the latest games at high detail without requiring a bank loan, the GeForce GTX 260 and Radeon HD 4870 1Gb. The question is, which is the fastest now that many driver revisions have passed since release? @ DriverHeaven

D-Link 10 Inch Wireless Internet Photo Frame Review

D-Link is normally known for networking equipment likes switches and routers, in fact, we’ve had the pleasure to review their products in the past and found them to be of excellent quality. In the last few years, their reportoire of product has expanded to include products like media servers, VOIP handsets, Internet cameras, network storage servers and recently, Digital Photo Frames. Although digital photo frames can seemingly be purchased anywhere (even at the grocery check out), D-Link thinks they can do it better. Today, we’ll be looking at D-Link’s DSM-210, a digital photo frame that combines a 10 inch screen, WiFi and 1GB of onboard memory. @ Futurelooks

AMD Sneak Peeks Phenom II, Overclocks To 5+GHz
We’ve been spending some quality time with the folks at AMD today in sunny Austin, TX.  The team here has been giving us a run-down on their upcoming Phenom II processor along with the enthusiast platform they’re calling “Dragon”.  In short, the Dragon platform is a combination of an AMD Phenom II X4 processor, Radeon 4800 Graphics cards and an AMD 7 series chipset based motherboard. @ HotHardware.com

Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3R Motherboard Review
We've had a far better experience with this board than we have had with the DS3R - it feels more stable, more reliable, it looks better and for £100 it's good value too. It's not the most feature rich P45 on the market - it's missing dual LAN and CrossFire - but not everyone wants those, and there are lots of different P45s on the market to cater for every possible whim. It still has a very useful eight SATA, great audio, a superb BIOS and plenty of PCI and PCI-Express for expansion - all these are genuinely useful additions and not marketing gimmicks or "nice idea, probably won't ever use" like Asus' Express Gate.

4GB DDR3 Memory Roundup - Part 2
All in all, the Elixir is a unique, low power, low profile performance solution but its pitiful 12 to 24 month warranty and inability to overclock that far means the Corsair from Part One of this round up is a better value product.

The Patriot Viper memory, on the other hand, is certainly great performing and good looking, but the Viper heat "shields" are not technically as excellent as other solutions. What's more, the higher rated voltage means it struggles at the extreme fringes, unless that is, you're really prepared to throw a lot of cool air and voltage into it which is covered by a lifetime warranty anyway - the good thing is that although its rated voltage is high, it boots at up to 1,600MHz with just 1.65V, meaning that it'll be fine in an X58-based system. @ bit-tech

ASUS GeForce EN9800GT Matrix
Picking out a new graphics card is easier to do now than ever, as there seems to be a model to cover every single price-range, and not just from one single GPU manufacturer, either. Today's card is one that represents the ~$125 price spot and is designed as a step-up from the 9600 GT, with ASUS applying their usual TLC to help add even more appeal. @ Techgage.com

Wolfking Warrior Xxtreme Gaming Keyboard Review
With the Warrior XXtreme, Wolfking set out to improve on the already great Warrior game pad by including the ability to chat and execute commands, something that was missing from its predecessor. The type of gamer you are will determine whether or not the addition of this modified QWERTY keyboard is welcome or just in the way. It became obvious early on in my testing that RPG gamers would be the ones making use of the Warrior XXtreme's full potential. @ Tweaknews.net

Thermaltake RamOrb Memory Cooler Review
Heat spreaders on memory modules are nothing new; they first saw use on RAMBUS memory back around the turn of the century, and quickly caught on in the enthusiast memory market as a means to help dissipate extra heat brought on through higher performance. More recently manufacturers have taken to incorporating heatpipes and additional banks of fins to provide even better cooling capacity. The Thermaltake RamOrb takes this idea one step further by adding a fan directly to the heatsink. @ OCIA.net

IcyDock MB674SPF Multi-bay Backplane Module Review
Some folks have a burning need for as much storage as they can cram into a full tower case. For those folks, the standard three internal 3.5" bays is insufficient. However, even the rare six internal 3.5" bay case is insufficient, as well. However, cases larger than that can often cost a pretty penny. Instead, those folks turn to products such as IcyDock's four-in-three multi-bay backplane module, a four-in-three insert into a case's 5.25" bays which can contain and power up to four SATA hard drives. ThinkComputers has the review. @ ThinkComputers.org
