2 x ATA100 IDE Channels, 2 x ATA100 IDE RAID Channels (optional)
100-183 MHz (1MHz increments)
1.100V-1.850V (0.025V increments)
Abit ships the KT7A-RAID with standard implements, including a Userís Manual, installation/driver CD, and IDE/FDD cables. Two 80-conductor IDE cables are included to make use of the on-board RAID.
Installation of the board was fairly routine, as is the case more often than not. The board is laid out cleanly, with the IDE, FDD, and ATX power connectors all located near the edges of the board, which helps reduce cluttering of wires around the processor and board. Take note that some larger AGP cards may block one or two of the clips on the DIMM slots from opening all the way. We recommend you install any memory prior to installing the graphics card, just to avoid potential trouble.
Additionally, we recommend installing the latest version of VIAís 4-in-1 drivers, followed by the appropriate video drivers, directly after the installation of the operating system, and prior to installing any other software or drivers.
