Here we see something very similar to what we saw with Quake 3 Arena. That is, the MX 400 performs better at lowere resolutions and in 16-bit color, whereas the Kyro II takes over at higher resolutions and color depths.

It's probably sufficient to say that if you're going to be playing at 800x600 or less, or in 16-bit color, the 3D Prophet II MX 400 is your best bet.
