Serious Sam is another popular gaming benchmark, and here we see again that the Pentium 4 really does require the high-bandwidth, low-latency RDRAM to truly perform at its best. Again, though, in most cases, a video card upgrade will likely do more to enhance the gaming experience in most cases. So long as your processor is over 800MHz to 1GHz, look toward a faster video card for the best gaming bang for the buck.
