All tests were conducted using a Pentium 4 processor at 2.40 GHz or 2.53 GHz. Our 850 chipset testbed (400 MHz FSB) consisted of an Intel D850MV desktop board, equipped with 512MB of PC800 RDRAM, rated at 45ns core access time. Our 850E testbed (533 MHz FSB) was equipped with an Intel D850EMV desktop board, and 512MB of PC800 RDRAM rated at 40ns core access time.
All benchmarks were executed three times, and the results averaged.
