Similar to our Antialiasing numbers, we examined the Radeon 9700 Pro's performance across three different resolutions using different Anisotropic filtering rates. Even with 16X Anisotropic filtering enabled (and 4X AA), the Radeon 9700 Pro turns in playable framerates.

Lastly, just to give an idea of professional level performance, we compared the Radeon 9700 Pro to our older GeForce 2 GTS using SPEC's SPECviewperf benchmark. This is one instance where an upgrade like this could actually improve productivity, if 3D rendering performance is of concern.
