Unreal Tournament 2003 certainly is not showing any preference for any graphics card, here both have the same scores, only at a 1600x1200 resolution with 4x anti-aliasing and 8x anisotropic filtering the Radeon X800 XT pulls slightly ahead, we’re talking a mere 3% faster here. Why did we opt to use the botmatch benchmark and not the flyby? Simply because the flyby has nothing to do with actual game play, it just measures how fast the card can render a preprogrammed flyby. The botmatch however re-enacts an actual botmatch with the game’s artificial intelligence also being used.
