Half Life 2

By: Sander Sassen

Half Life 2 paints an interesting picture, the previous generation Radeon X850XT PE manages to outclass the X1800 Pro in all resolutions, but loses to the X1800 XT. The GeForce 7800GT and GTX are basically going toe-to-toe with the new Radeons, but are slightly ahead in higher resolutions. Interesting to note is the fact that at 1280x1024 and 1600x1200 two GeForce 6800GTs in SLI show a significant performance lead over both the Radeon X1800 Pro and XT, obviously two GeForce 6800 Ultras in SLI are no match either and the GeForce 7800GTX in SLI is simply reigning supreme.
