ECS' P4IBMS is one of the least expensive Pentium 4 boards on the market, but still maintains the quality necessary for larger scale OEMs.
Performance: 5/10
The board performs on par with other 845 offerings.
Stability: 8/10
Stability was almost perfect, save for one instance of data loss when using the on-board LAN. This is not a totally uncommon occurrence.
Quality: 8/10
We've yet to experience any difficulty with ECS boards outside the normal/expected failure rates.
Features: 5/10
Definitely not for then enthusiast, but the board's lack of features do serve to keep the cost down for OEMs.
Documentation: 6/10
The User's Manual is acceptable, although again, that isn't necessarily an important issue for a board that will come pre-installed in OEM systems more often than not.
Price: 10/10
The P4IBMS is one of the cheapest Pentium 4 boards currently available.
Overall Rating: 7/10
The P4IBMS does what it's designed to do, and does it well. An inexpensive, low key, but high quality board.
