When I try to shutdown or reboot my Win2k system, it succesfully shutsdown windows and all but is then stuck at a completely black screen. Its as if my motherboard isnt sent the reboot or shutdown signal, I always have to use my power off button. The problem appeared suddenly, it worked before without problem but someday it just stopped. I didnt change any settings in my system btw.

set it, in bios, to soft shutdown when the power button is momentarily pressed. then run widows and press the power button momentarily, at this point you know that the mobo was physically told to shut down. then tell us what happens.

The only onboard thing still turned on is the usb chip and the gameport.
