I doubt it but if Linksys built in an emergency password like some BIOS makers do that may be your only hope.

look for a reset switch on the wireless access point. that will reset the unit to its factory defaults. then try typing in "admin" as the user name and "password" as the password (without the quotes!). hope that helps.

Ok he is right about the reset button...... FIND A RESET BUTTON.. stick a papper clip or a pencil-pen in the hole and hold down for about 10 secs.... then unplug the router.... plug it back in.. now in your browser type in the address bar: 192.168.1.1
when the username comes up type the following:

USERNAME: LEAVE BLANK
PASSWORD: admin

let me know if you have any probs

Jamie is asking how to get around the forgotten password without doing the reset button technique and going back to factory defualts. He still wants to keep his custom configuration.

Hey Jamie,

You are gonna have to reset back to factory defualt fella. sorry.......... this time, do the PrtScn button and paste it to word and print it out for safe keeping.

You're going to have to reset it back to factory. Push and hold the reset button for fiteen seconds and type in the following:

Username: admin
Password: admin

Next time be sure to pick a password that is easy for you to remember but near impossible for anyone to guess or crack with the use of software.
