LAN? You mean internet right? Update your network card, video driver, and directx 9.0b.

I was getting a weird problem after I installed the demo. I updated my video driver and directx and that fixed many of the issues I had.

Hey!!
I posted a simular comment @ the Halo PC forum...
My problem is the Shadows and Specular options in the Video-options menu...
I can't enable these options, is it because of my driver version of does my GPU simply not support these featurez???

It's a Winfast Geforce 2.MX 64 with 32 mb....
Anyone Help???

swarm... are you retarded or something? LOL was i asking you the question? remember who i'm trying to help here. Your problem seems to be bigger than josh's.
Here is a good site you can go to -----------------> http://www.idiots.com. I never say you can't play Halo on LAN. Where did i say that in my sentence? Hmmmmmm? There's not much competition in playing Halo if you setup a LAN at home for a 1vs1 and not play it on the internet. I was assuming he meant internet because he didn't say anything about creating a LAN game. Wouldn't it be more fun on the net? Hahaha! By the way there is a big difference between a LAN and the internet when it comes to troubleshooting. Heck what if he had two NICs installed in his pc for the purpose of LANNING. That's where the problem may be. My point exactly. Is it that bad to make sure he means internet play and not LAN? Like OMG!! If you don't understand the technique of troubleshooting then you shouldn't be posting replies in this thread in the first place. There are a lot of users out there who have trouble explaining their problem. They don't give enough detail of the problem and sometimes they explain their problem wrong so that's why asking them questions play a big role.Well HELLO! I should slap you in the back head for turning this thread into a joke. The laugh is on you swarm. LOL? Hahaha?

Anywaaaaaaaays back to the problem... ok first you said the pc reboots randomly, then you said it was multiplayer LAN, and now you're saying it happens when you exit the game? Make sure your RAM isn't the cause of all of this. RAMs do reboot pc randomly. That's coming from my experienced.

Go to the settings option in HALO and see if you can change the video settings to OpenGL and set resolution to 800x600. If that doesn't work, check the compatibility list from Halo to see if your video card is listed? Halo might not be compatible with your video card.
