this was an excellent article an i recon he made it cos he was very p**sed off!!
i know excataly how this guy feels, i am a computer technician an sick to death with people doin stupid things!!

I still remember opeing my first 486DX Packard Bell. That was cool
My first build was in the company of a friend who was more experienced with PCs.
I do have to admit that I didn't do much research prior to building my first computer.
Seeing one fully assembled was helpful because I could follow what I saw.

I now have 3 Pentium based and 1 AMD based PC on different OS and hardware configs.

Thanks for writing the article. I was laughing and imagining someone actually doing these things.

I'm still pretty new to this forum and still quit virginal in the in the inner workings of a computer. What Sander has written here is nothing short of hysterical! Being new, like I have said, I would not have taken any of this article for granted.
I can't see how anyone else would.
It was obviously written for the comic aspect of it all.
He probably got a good kick out of it himself. When you do nothing but write tech papers all day, to write something on the lighter side must have been relieving for him.
I say good job!

What a larf! Chill out the rest of you wankers who take it seriously. Better still get a life. Get of ur arse, away from the computer and do something real. Computers are a tool and shouldn't be a way of life. Sure they're great to tinker with but jesus don't take this stuff seriously. Top article fellas!
