InFocus X1 vs InFocus ScreenPlay 4800

I am a coach and wish to use a projector for showing game film to my team. We film all of our games (water polo) and some of our practices with a Canon ZR50 Digital Video Camcorder. I would like to just plug the camcorder into the projector and show film. Is that possible with these units?

Also, since cost is a factor, is the InFocus X1 ($999) as effective for my purposes as the InFocus ScreenPlay 4800 ($1299).

I also just read a favorable article on the Dell 2200MP ($899). It apparently does have a manual zoom now which was one of your concerns in the model you tested.

The specs on all of these seem to be somewhat comparable, but one of the things that caught my attention in your article was your chart comparison for "image quality". You had a 2 level (6 to 8) difference between the Dell and the InFocus. Since I have been unable to find a retailer in our area that has these units functioning, I am not sure how to compare image quality which I would assume would be very critical for viewing our game films.

Thank you for your article, it was very helpful to someone with no experience in this area. I would be very interested in comments from anyone with experience in this area for some guidance before purchasing a projector.

Thank you,
