i'm planning to upgrade my computer from a 1.4 GHz tbird to a 2400+ xp.
mobo can generate a fsb of 266 Mhz, but on the page of amd the 2400 xp isn't listed as recommended cpu. furthermore i don't know if i need a biosupdate. how can i check that? the chipset is a sis 735 and version of bios is 11/15/2001 if i'm correct.
i would be glad for any help i can get.
