my old motherboard died so i am looking for a good [inexpensive] mobo that supports a p4 2.4 ghz and has usb 2.0 Lan and basic sound. Have my own video cards already. Any suggestions are welcome. Along with a place to get them.

If you want a good mobo with plenty of features then get an Abit IS7 if you don`t want to go with that then try a MSI mobo of your choice, but if you will go to the motherboard thread and look at the threads there then make your choice of what you want based upon the least amount of posts .In other words don`t buy a mobo that has a lot of posts concerning troubles.Such as the ASUS mobo`s. there are about 1500 posts in only three threads concerning troubles with this mobo. Abit -- MSI -- even Biostar ,seem to be better than Asus,or ECS mobo`s .I build PC`s and fix them and these two mobo`s seem to give more problems than any others.
