I have been trying to look at a problem on my brother-in-laws laptop.

He has a Colossus 2200+ laptop with a MATs**tA UJDA750 DVD/CDRW combo drive and Win XP Home SP1. He tries to burn CDs (Audio and Data) with Nero 5.5.9.8, whenever he does this Nero seems to return successfully with the 'Burn process completed successfully' message. However no data is written to the blank CD.

Could anyone giver me a hint as to what is happening.
