I am thinking of buying a Gigabyte GA-7NNXP motherboard, which uses the nForce2 Ultra400 chipset. The site for it is http://uk.giga-byte.com/MotherBoard/Products/Products_GA-7NNXP.htm. The problem I face is that I may choose to OC a P4c or P4e in about 6 months, and since I will be raising the FSB higher than 800Mhz, I will need DDR500. I will be using a 2500+ M with my Gigabyte motherboard, with the FSB raised to 400Mhz. Will I be able to use DDR500 with them?

Yes. The DDR500 will just lower it's speed to work at whatever it needs to.
