I WAS WONDERING WHATS THE MAXIMUM I CAN CLOCK A SAPPHIRE RADEON 9800XT 256MB DDR.
CURRENTLY RUNNING AT 411MHZ CORE AND 375 MEMORY (STANDERED). I WAS LOOKING AT SOME OTHER TOPICS IN OVERCLOCKING AND SOME GUYS HAVE 9600/9700 AND SUCH CLOCKED TO NEARLY DOUBLE MINE. IS THE STANDERED SPEED DDR AND SUCH ITS REALLY RUNNING DOUBLE SPEED.

I HAVE THE RADLINKER O/C TOOL NOT SURE HOW GOOD IT IS!!!!

if you have a high end card then there is no benefit to overclocking as it is
already more than a match for any game out and of course you run the risk of doing damage to the card
needlessly - but if you are set on it and want to see if you can do it or you are looking to improve your
3d mark scores then by all means try it-radlinker works well and is easy to use

I've run my 9700pro overclocked for 18 months, no problems, maybe 10% increase in frame rates. Go for it, but the best util is AtiTool-it automatically scans for artifacts and increases the clock and memory speeds to their highest safe level. Download it from here:
