I think that both the Nvidia and Ati cards take up two slots. Granted the Nvidia cards are bulkier. But Ati 9800xt's heatsink and fan sits next to a pci slot too. If you put a PCI card next the 9800xt there would be no circulation. I really don't think the Pci slot next to the apg port can be used on either card.

I like both companys. I always put the fastest video cards in the computers I build. We will soon find out which card is faster the 6800 or the x800. I personally am not an image quality person I want frame rates. When you are playing a game do you really look at little details? But I would like a card that will run fast at 1600X1200 with all features enabled. Tomorrow is the deciding day 'cuse ATI is showing off there new VPU.

I expect the ATI cards will have the same performance then the 6800 ultra, but the image quality will be better. so i would wait for the ATI x800 Pro and get that.
