8 megabytes resolution with an Olympus quality lens will surely produce superb immages, but the the most welcome comment I read in the review was the stated lack of shutter delay. This delay is the biggest bugbear in digital photography and I can't believe that Olympus has been fully able to eliminate this problem.
My Nikon 5700 is pathetic in this respect and I mainly pull it out to shoot still subjects. What is wrong with having the ability to overide the auto focus. I would like to pre-set the focus on so many occasions, and then hit the shutter at will.

If Olympus has solved this problem it will surely be my next camera - It will however it will not replace the convenient pocket camera that many enthusiasts carry around at all times. My main friend is a Canon S300 and my Canon A1 with the 20mm lens still makes stunning images.

The reviewer's put-down of the 2-3meg pixel cameras was revealing of his partiality to the march of progress and not necessary. We know that these cameras are capable of much more than making 4 x 6 prints

I tried to shoot inside a fast moving puppy. What settings would you suggest because of the fast movement. I tried putting onto hi sequential but because it was inside the flash is not capable of being set on so pictures were not well lit. What setting would you suggest for Inside fast moving subject.

SHUTTER LAG.. i was try to take pictures of a new puppy outside in good light. When the puppy was -in good position I pressed the shutter but there seems to be a large enough LAG TIME so I missed the shot.. Any suggestions? Is this just how the Olympus C8080 works or is this common Digital problem.. How would you should a moving model in a studio situation or in a natural inside situation with natural light if the model is going to be moving.. marv alpert alpert@mail.com
