I played Age of Empires II The Age of Kings and Conquerors great on my old PC which was a P3 with Windows 98. So i got my new PC with the specs below and i currently have Win XP Home Edition. Well when i installed Age of Empires II for the first time, everytime i click on the icon to start the game i get an error message that tells me to either let Microsoft know about it or "Dont send" button, you know the usual eror message when something pukes. Is this due to WinXP and that the game dosent support it and is there a patch for the game i can download that might fix this problem?

Do you have a screenshot of your icon? Windows XP runs Age of Empires just fine. I was just playing it a little while earlier. It sounds to me like there's just a bug in your OS. Did you already get the latest patch?
