I do not like to install more then I have too, I have tried to stop this Congratulations pop-up in internet explorer and mozilla, and for every page I open in HWA I have to close this pop-up down, I am getting a bit fed-up with this and I will try every day to see if it pops up and if it does I will pop-out.

All the best Jim

Looks to me like you might have some kind of spyware running. You should not, AFAIK, be getting pop-ups from HWA.

If you don't have Ad-aware and Spybopt S&D installed, you should have - they're both free, small-footprint apps that do not run on startup. I recommend them to anyone who uses the Internet.

I know you don't want to install more apps, but these two really are a must...

I run Ad-aware every other day, I run Norton cleansweep, I have a short-cut to my Cookies folder on my desktop so I can go and get rid of them, I have just put all my Security to high in Internet Explorer, and I am not getting it now at the moment, will see if this slows down my browsing.

I had it 20 times about 6:30 UK time and this was the only site I was looking at. It isn't doing it at the moment though although it is not the first time it has happend!

Oh and I do use Adaware and Spybot and have my Zonealarm settings to max so it isn't something on my system (I also get it at work sometimes as well!)

Your guys systems sound like they may not be secure. Are you running Spyware Blaster, Spybot, and an updated version of Mozilla Firefox?

Yes, Rory's right. If you haven't already downloaded and installed SP2 I highly recommend you do so.

And I have a fresh install of XP but there is no way I am going to SP it, there are too many problems in my opinion, anyway, they are still maintaining SP1, you just need to know where to look!
