when I play Rome total war every couple of minutes the game will minimize itself to the desktop. the game doesnt crash i just click on it and it brings it back but it keeps minimizing itself. any idea on how to stop this.

Another suggestion, John, would be to check for background programs such as antiviruses, spyware, or silly stuff like QuickTime trying to grab your atttention.
