A friend of mine got a tough IBM Computer Problem...which can't not process the windows...
It shows as followings,

"ERROR
RESOURCE CONFLICT - Allocation Error Static Node # 00"

Press <F1> to Setup

His laptop is IBM T22.
As a techinian, I've tested all the componets, Hard Drive, SDRAM, SCREEN....
I've configured BIOS, and tried load Default, etc
and it keeps came out the same message as above

If someone had this problem b4 and it fixed...
Please help me to figure out what's going on da laptop

Thanks
Tony

Have you tried to download the IBM Rescue and Recovery program from IBMs web site. It will repair any corruption without erasing any of your files and or data.

I am having the same error message. This message only occurs when I try to install a new hard drive. When I place the old hard drive back in it work just fine.

Did you ever fix this problem. The error is occurring on a R32.

I have tried multiple things. The hard drive do not even have an OS on them. I want to install Win8 on it.

If your problem is showing up when you are trying to install an OS...

Many OS installation problems are resolved by removing every non-essential piece of hardware and using the absolute minimum hardware required for the initial OS installation.

For example, remove all but one memory module (making sure it is in the right slot for the motherboard), removing a video card if the motherboard has built-in video, removing all (un-needed for the OS install) PCI cards (e.g. audio cards, extra USB port cards, etc), removing all but the one OS disk drive and one optical drive (if needed), using a PS/2 keyboard and mouse instead of USB devices if possible, and so on.

There are multiple threads on HWA and elsewhere that talk about OS installation errors.

Are you upgrading from Win7 to Win8? Are you dual booting to have both Win7 and Win8?. Download EASEUS partition manager and install it. Install the new hard drive and boot into the installed system. Use the partition program to create a PRIMARY! not a logical partition, or set the whole drive up as a primary drive without partitions. Remove the old drive, and install the win8 on the new partition/drive you have created. I'm not trying to sell anything here EASEUS is free. I recommend it because it's user friendly. You might want to read up on primary vs. logical partitions.
