ok, enough of the it's been made........ I read just a week or 2 ago that the Nforce 4 was ready to be shipped, ok....................then who has it, I refuse to put my FX-55 in an AGP motherboard for the love of god. At this rate my processor will be replaced with a FX-58 before I get my chip into a smok'n mother board.

Here is my opinion on the whole thing, there are no games out there utilizing the PCI-Express chipset to enhance games. I have a x800 XT PE from Asus and I've seen the bench marks v.s. the PCI-Express version, I am starting to wonder if I am making a smart move into buying another $600+ video card right yet.

I sure won't pay for two when one well do. There is no reason for this except to pay more and get nothing. What well use this? Only the very rich or the very lame have money to blow. I'll wait till someome makes something that well take advantage of it first. Sounds like an old video card concept redone and I get enought of that from GREAT inovators like Ford or Intell with there all new wnd improved Crap. When well it be improved and not just reworked and advertise spun to death.

Well first of all there will be some mug on eBay who will pay a small fortune for your current card. Secondly i think NF4 does show an improvement, although i have been reading mixd reviews of the PCI vs AGP high end cards.

On the SLI issue, which isnt actually mentioned in the original post :) ... I think that it is a bit of a gimmick. Sure i would love to have it, but for example, a 40% performance increase in a game from 100fps to 140fps (just an example), would cost 100% more. I certainly dont hav the money for that and i think it only makes sense if you HAVE to have the latest stuff or if you need cutting edge for your job or something. (or if you are rich as hell)
