I use limewire and I have bad luck with it. I can't seem to be download stuff at super fast spped even thought I am connecting to a person who use cable or higher. And believe me, I have super fast connection. But I know a couple of people who are able to dl at fast speed and I even have faster speed them em. so you might have some luck with limewire if you want to get it.

I use the general policy of not discuissing ILLEGAL THINGS in detail on a PUBLIC FORUM lest it get me or owners of the forum into TROUBLE.

And you're all idiots for using those pieces of crapware.
And you're asses if you want something that will let you get things free, and faster.

DAMN, how demanding do you have to be to refuse to pay yet expect speed and quality?

And the best file stealing program is (Not gonna tell you. Michael Hill knows the answer. Maybe he'll tell you after he sees this thread. Maybe he'll lock it.)

I tend to stay away from ANY P2P software, but if I were to give a recommendation, I would use Bittorrent. If I've ever searched for a file on http://suprnova.org or http://lokitorrent.com I've always found it.;)

I never claimed to have never broken a copyright.
I'm saying you're NOT supposed to talk about your illegal dealings in an explicit manner on these forums.

i use bit tornadoe, hate bit torrent, can never get it to work nice, and i like the status light on torrent. the only thing is torrents are more for downlaoding albums i think, rather than single tracks.

I've tried and even currently use a number of P2P clients, but I'm having the best luck with EDonkey 2000.
It combines a emule client with a custom client call "Overnet". Compared to the other clients I can all ways find more files of better quality with ED 2000, and the program makes everyone share some upload bandwidth, so there's no leeching, just lots of files. Download speeds can vary, but with my 300KB cable connection, I've seen a single file come in at 60-80KBps. It even has a plugin for Bitorrent among other things. Got to like that. :)

Nope, but it does have the required ad running in the upper right hand corner all the time. But it's no big.
I have Adaware, which has never been tripped by it. More importantly I have SpyBot S&D running resident and set to tell me if any site, etc tries to slip me spyware, and EDonkey's never tripped it either.
Of course it's got the usual, "extra features" when you install it, but you can de-select them, so it's cool.
All in all, I've been real happy with it. Most importantly, it's not the hacker magnet that Limeware, and Bearshare seem to be. Plus I think I've gotten 1 infected file, and maybe a few totally bogus files the whole time I've been using it.
I highly recommend it. ;)

Get e-donkey and using e-donkey, download E-donkey Pro! ;) Your download rates will be like at 100kbps. One of my friends did this. Also, try shareza (i think its called). It uses like 3 servers: e-donkey, kazaa, etc....so its realyl fast.....
