Hi, I have linksys router, When I first bought it and hooked it up it worked fine, I had to unplug it and connect to the internet through my dsl modem because of a problem I was having, I tried connecting using the router again and when I try to go to the linksys web site through my internet explorer it won't load so I can't configure my router for this reason, What can I do to get onto the web site through my internet explorer? I have windows xp on both my laptop and desktop. Thanks

What model of linksys router are we talking about? And is it wireless? This information is needed in order to assist you.

I have the same problem with my linkys router. Running Windows XP professional on hard wired computer. Worked fine in the beginning and now with the dsl modem doesn't work on the hard wire computer. Wireless works fine, but dsl won't respond to the hard wire computer. My network actually seems to go down alot with the dsl modem and now my computer won't reload the dsl modem. Doesn't recognize the modem. Anyone else have this problem? What can you do to fix it.

Teri-
You have one year of free tech support from Linksys. You should take advantage of that. And write down the fix for this. I read your manual just now, and I could walk you through the process of resetting your router with the IP's and MAC address's. But tech support will walk you through it on the phone. That will be much simpler and easier for you.

What's with people and routers?

Switches perform better and are plug and play... no messing around to get them to work.

are you at least connected to the router? Does it show you have signal strength, or are you not connecting at all?
