Guess what... first thread I clicked on. I was thinking "how long until THIS gets deleted?" lol.

Well, Asus boards are crap. At least their Socket A ones are. Anything with an A7V8X or A7N8X is bad.

The Gigabyte GA-7N400-L is good. That's mine. Can't really comment on A64 or P4 platforms though.

Intel Core i7 2600K @ 4.4GHz
Asus mobo
4x2GB Kingston HyperX DDR3 @ 1700MHz 9-9-9-27
Sapphire Radeon HD5870
OCZ Agility 3 120GB, 2x640GB WD Caviar Black RAID 0

When I got an XP 2600+, I went with the Chaintech 7NJS Zenith. Now I know Chaintech isn't quite as popular as some of the other brands but I really liked this board.

What a dissapointment.......

Anyway, my experience of my A7N8X-E Deluxe Rev.2 has been good. Overclocked fine, no hardware failures. Maybe lots of others have had problems but i can only speak for myself.

Got a hardware problem? - check your PSU... If it isn't that, then I don't know.
