You shouldn't be doing anything while this is running.
This setting is the best for your RAM and at 1T which is what you want. Corsair is tricky on this mobo, I know, I had some too. This test will pass now.

so this is the right setting then? Interesting. Will I be able to keep these numbers if I add a different set of RAM in the next slots? And hey, thanks for taking the time to help me.

so this is the right setting then?
So I take it that these settings passed without errors?
Will I be able to keep these numbers if I add a different set of RAM in the next slots?
>Yes, except for the CAS# Latency, you will only have 2T using 4 DIMMS.

Gary Sarlo-
The 3400+ is a for 754 pin socket. This board has a 939 pin socket. The 3400+ will not work with this board. Are you sure you don't have a 3500+

It is a 939 socket. I've had it an A8v also that was flawless and now A8N.

Had a quick look and Gary could be right, found this on Anandtect Fourums.
ADA3400DEP4AZ 939 3400+ 2.2 GHz.

EDIT
Quote : formulav8 : The 3400+ s939 is the exact same as the 3500+ with one difference. It runs on the 800(1600) htt bus instead of the 1000(2ghz) htt bus. You will not be able to tell any difference between the 2 cpu's in performance.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with that 3400+ s939 cpu. It will perform almost exactly like the 3500+ cpu would.

Gary Sarlo-
I take it back. Not many 939 pin 3400+ CPU's about.
1. I'm not sure if this would be a factor in your problem but did you select PCIexpress as display in BIOS? It used to display regardless but the 1007 BIOS changed some display parameters but check that PCI express is selected as display
2. Check that the SLI mode in BIOS matches your configuration.
3. If running two cards, make sure the display is plugged into the top cards DVI output only, preferably in the left hand plug.
4. Ensure SLI card matches the setup (dual or single) and is seated properly and if two cards in use the bridge is installed.
5. If using two cards ensure EZ plug installed.
6. 6 pin 12 volt power is plugged into graphics
Good luck

Thanks Merc. I know the 3400 939 is a rare bird. The problem is I can't see the bios because I have no monitoring ability. That's my problem. The display won't initialize so it stays BLACK!!!! I get ooting1 beep at start up which tells me the board is actually booting and all is well, however it is not getting the monitor started, but I think it thinks it is.

Gary-
The last thing I can think of is to make sure you have the card in the right slot (PCIe slot closest to the CPU). Without a PCI card you're pretty much at the limits of troubleshooting.

Gary -

I have to agree with some of the other comments made here. I would be putting my two cents on a bad PCI-e slot. Have you been screwing down the video card in the slot tightly? if the answer to this is yes, try removing the screw or backing it out just a little bit so that the video card sits in the slot a little differently. If this happens to work I would still RMA the board if it was me.

It really is too bad you do not have a regular PCI video card. With that you could certainly rule out a slot problem.
