The process of copying the DVD described in the article is the other way round that I use to record ! First I use the Decrypter to decrypt the DVD to my HD. This way the copyright protected can be removed. Next I used DVDShrink to shrink the video so that it will fit into a single disk. Furthermore, DVDShrinks USES NERO to copy the DVD video files to the DISK. There is no such thing of incompatibilty if NERO can copy DVD. This process is much faster and easier.

Yes, your method works well too...although no need to use DVD decypter to rip DVD since DvD Shrink removes protection for you.

I suppose you save DVD folder structure to hard drive then burn it with Nero...but I think you missed the point, Wong. Both DVD Decrypter/DVD Shrink are both freeware...so can rip/encode/burn DVDs so need for bloated Nero to do the job. No cost except for media! DVD decrypter is auto configured to run so makes it easy to do it in one step. Creating image and burning with DVD decrypter is also safer route rather then introducing another variable like Nero into the equation since less chance of conflict/errors if something goes wrong.
