When glueing the heatsink so the processor what kind of glue can you use? The glue that came with my heatsink/fan has been used. Can you use any type of glue or a certain type only? Please tell me what glue i need. Thank you.

You don't use glue. It's called heatsink compound. You can probably find some at your local Radio Shack, or just about any computer store. The best stuff around is arctic silver 5, which you can find online.

Joey the stuff is not glue, its a compound that helps the heat to transfer more efficiently between the processor and the heatsink. There are many compounds available that do the job. Silicon Heat compound has been vastly used though for the processors silver compounds have proven to be more efficient. The most common one as lc mentioned is the Arctic silver thermal compound. However when applying it do make sure that you do not apply too much of it or it will do more harm than good. Also follow the correct procedure of applying it to get the best results...you can see how to aplly on the following link...
