Hello!

Situation: I start Max Pain (that btw. worked under win98 on older computer, but not on this new one, with same game cd), intro goes well, enter New game, it starts loading and then the game simply ends! Computer doesn't crash, and there are no further problems but the game just isn't working. What could be the problem? I don't know where to start.
Everything else (games, programs) works normally.
Please Help
Thanks

Comp: Asus A7S333, 1600XP, 256 DDR, ATI Radeon9000.

Thanks for helping, I installed the patch but now the game asks me to insert the right cd. Or if I install the crack it closes just after the intro.
What now?

Guess you need to find a crack for the latest patch then, either that or buy the game, I think it's gone budget now.

See bio for system setup.
