Hey, I have an NEC Versa SX that's a few years old. Every so often (at random apparently), when I'm starting it up, everything will appear normal and suddenly the screen will go dark. Images are still slightly visible, but it is as if the brightness has suddenly been drastically reduced. There is no way to increase the brightness. However, if I restart or boot up at different times, the problem will not occur. When it does happen, the dark screen happens at the same boot up point every time. Any clue what's the issue and what I'd need to do to fix it?
