Man there's Alot of Posts and People having Problems with the ASUS A8N SLI Deluxe Mobo's and their Blaming the motherboard because they don't Know how to Setup the New PCI Express System!! They should have a Pro do it,or at least Learn before they Try something that is way over the Common Man's head!! Research,then Build!!

ctually those boards have been quite problematic....also i dont think theres that much to a pci-express system as there is to an sli system....but you rarely see any problems regarding any other manufacturers here....with a huge thread dedicated just to the asus sli.....i dont see how you can say thats just due to the people using it....

The Problems with the Board was BIOS Related only!! Also alot of People were trying to use Beta Versions and that's where the Problems Started!! Once 1011 was out,Problems were Eliminated! It's Funny,I've built on this Board with No Problems!!

There are plenty of people who have had no problems with the ASUS A8N SLI mobos.

But i would never buy the board because of the 4500+ replys to that "infamous A8N SLI Deluxe FAQ". I would go with MSI, or DFI personally, or even Gigabyte.

You got your A8N SLI Deluxe fine, thats great, they are fine boards once you get the kinks out of them. Congradulations!

There could be 10,000 posts,but that doesn't mean that there couldn't be 9994 that just didn't know what they were doing! You should Check with Hard OCP and CPU magazine and see which Mobo they Recommend! But that may Prove the Many ASUS Faq's Wrong,and that would not Support your Theory so that would be a Bad Idea! I'd Love to know how many of these post's were Posted by Reputable Builders,Not Many I would Guess!! I've been an MSI Fan for years,but ASUS has topped even MSI,so unless you Build Systems for a Living,I doubt you know how to Properly configure a System as Well!! Post's Mean nothing unless there Posted by Voodoo,Alienware or Maingear! It's Funny,they all use this Board,But they Probably don't know anything Either ,Right!! Ignorance is Bliss!!

Um, This is a dumb thread, You may have noticed that you said the fault was bios related... Well 1011 may have fixed things, But the board came out along time before that fixed bios.

Asus always try to be the first, with there NEW SLI NF4 board. Sadly as normal they dont actually bother to check to see if it actually work and this is not the first board that this has happened with.
They have lost my respect and a pro system builder and I would only use Anus boards after there 6 - 10 months old so you can get a board that actually works.

i gotta say my board runs great, i dont care what board beats it, i got this for £50 or if your american... dirt cheap mofo.
As for the FAQ how many have come back and said ohh its ok it were my fault .
how many are double posts? If the mods were bothered to check the thread and do a proper job, maybe it wouldnt be so big.
I got this board because, every magazine I read reccomended it, Every online review reccomends it and for a novice like myself you can only really go off the reviews not a FAQ thread or idiots who think they know the secrets of the universe
