Old Pack Bell Windows 95 Pent. 200Mhz 16mb edo ram. Message Press <F2> to enter set up. When I do, I get a password window. My brother who bought it new doesn't know what BIOS is so he wasn't in there. I tried restore discs and reloading Win. password still there. Anyone know a back way in?

clear the CMOS, if there isn't a jumper to clear it, then pop the battery out of the motherboard for a few seconds and put it back in

then u should be able to get into the BIOS without having to put in a password

You don't need to clear the CMOS. There is a jumper on the motherboard which locks and unlocks password protection. It is labeled something like pswd prtct or something similar(been a long time since I've seen one of these). Just switch the jumper to the other pins. This will disable password protection. Then you can get into the BIOS without any problem.
