I have a AMD 64 3200+. I just replaced my factory 120mm fan with a new higher power antec for exhaust and then put another one just like it in the front for intake. They are both the Antec tricool120. It dropped my temps down a few degrees, however my Processor is sitting around 38-39C and my motherboard is around 32C. What can I do to get these temperatures down some more. I do not want to do water cooling. Thanks.

I also want to purchase some round IDe and floppy drive cables, can someone recommend a place to buy a good quality cable from?

Get your hands on some molex sleeving as well if you don't have any. Look at some Zalman socket 939 coolers, very nice coolers! But your temps are good, but if you want less, go Zalman.
Another thing, the back of your case probbaly has a inbuilt grill, that will be restricting the airflow of your exhaust fan, cut it out with pliers and get a fan grill instead, the case grills suck!!!

There are plenty of good socket 754 coolers out there. Molex sleeving will increase airflow just liek rounded IDE cables, makes things a lot tidier too.

If your processor is down to 39, you are doing pretty good. Any addition is a waste of effort.

my cpu is idling round 30,
and goes 32/35max under full load.

i have an Arctic freezer 754/939.
also a good airflow in your case does a lot, even for your cpu.

754 and 939 use the same H/S mounting so if it says it fits 939 socket it will fit your 745 also

i dont wanna be a typo, but its 754.

and his temps are worse then mine,
my cpu is idling round 30,
and goes 32/35max under full load.

so he can do a better job.
arctic freezer does a good job,
zalman makes good coolers also.
