I didn't get any information beyond that. Therefore I think he means the currently available beta BIOS on the asus website.

My New system is up and running but I can only get a score of 13500 in 3dMark 2001. I have updated all the drivers including the motherboard and video card. I tried running the monitor at 60hz and 75hz, i tried turning up the Direct3D to optimal performance and the same with the OpenGL. No matter what I cant get over 13500. Here is my system.
Pentium 4 2.6 Ghz 800 Mhz FSB
P4C800 Deluxe
Radeon 9700 Pro
7200 80GB Western Digital 8mb buffer
What can I do to get above 15000 where I should be? Would defragging the hard drive do much? I havent did that yet but its a new computer.

Hmmm, I've tried to download this new bios update a couple of times, but the zip file seems to be corrupted somehow...

Try from an other mirror. ASUS for 4 mirrors.

I tried it, and GTA VC isn't crashing anymore. With 1004 it crashed every like 30 mins. I played like a hour, hour and a halve now, and everytime seems fine!

Correction, I still get hangups constantly. Can anyone please tell why I can't find Smartgart in the display properties?

What a strange thing u have... Maybe u should try to clean up your system from driver and then reinstall?i really don't know why u don't have a SmartG... Try to search on some forums... http://www.driverheaven.net maybe?

Win2000, no wonder, I you sure the control panel is the same as for XP?
