Using this as an example,

dir /s /on /b /a:d > c:\folderlist.txt

The last part of the line is the file it will output it to, c:\folderlist.txt.

Then you would open that file in notepad and print it out.

But some of those programs that _MD_ suggested look pretty good also.

Maybe I don't completely understand your question. Either you are just asking how to simply print the files that exist inside a directory -- like your song files listed in your My Music directory, or you need a deeper directory listing to be printed. Please forgive me if I am telling you something that you already know, I am just not sure what you are asking.

1. first open a command prompt window
2. traverse to the directory that contains your music files and folders

example:

type: "cd C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\My Documents\My Music>"

3. once you are in that directory type: "dir > mysongs.txt"
4. exit out of the command prompt and open that directory in Windows Explorer
5. open that file using Notepad and print it

hope that helps

there's a heading called "edit the registry" at the bottom of this page that fixes the search window problem.

BACK UP YOUR REGISTRY FIRST.
