Ok, my serious sam 2 is messed up. My sound always goes in and out and when I am playing the game it almost sounds like 2 tracks are going at the same time.

Not only are the sounds messed up, but the mouse is messed up too. It jumps randomly. Has anyone else had this problem? It happens whether I use my audigy, my Live, or my onboard sound systems. Any ideas for the sound or the jumps?

Thanks,
-Will

Alright, guess noone has any ideas...I got a new question then. I just got my hands on a sempron 1800+ and an athlon 1600+. Does anyone know which one is better? they are both socket A.

Thanks
-Will

I'd say the sempron in better.

With the sound issue - try removing your sound card, and try just using your onboard sound. See how that goes.

Ok guys, it turns out serious sam 2 has problems with multi core systems. They created a patch that fixed this and it works out fine now...

Thanks,
-Will
