Well, I knew I was retarded, but I kinda thought that my machine was smarter.....I cannot tell you what 894565 x 4237 is in a second...and it can o.O Anyways haha, I am just p**sed that my Windows logs me in, waits over 3 minutes at the logon and does absolutely nothing, then after 3 minutes it loads the desktop. This is rediculus. It already happened once before, then I had to reformat. But this time around I gotta find a fix somehow for this long wait.
Strangely enough, my computer is doing similar things. It used to take one minute and fourteen seconds (1:14) to boot and now it takes about four and a half. I have no idea why. I've added no new programs, Windows says I don't need to defrag either of my drives (and even if it did, defrags rarely improve it THAT much), I don't *think* I have any viruses...
If my printer is on, my computer takes way longer to start up. It's just one of those silly things I've learned to work around. It actually helps me keep my printer off, which is good because I probably only use it once a week!
I don't know, but I think no matter what you do, a Windows installation will just tend to go bad for no reason over time. If I format today, and keep it exactly the same way for atleast 2-3 months, guaranteed it will start to slow down. I think that's just how it is.
I am what you would call depressingly comfortable...
