In the review of the 845d and competing chipsets it was stated that that SiS645 motherboards were very difficult to come by. Perhaps this is true in a retail store, but certainly not in the on-line world. If you check SiS's web page, you will find that every major MB maker (and minor ones for that matter) have a MB based on the SiS645. Additionally, there are a ton of web stores out there selling these motherboards and have for weeks (they are in stock). Boards from Asus, MSI, Soyo and others are very easily found and purchased. Additionally reviews of these boards are also coming out. Reviews of the Asus P4S333 have been done by many sites and posted since mid December 2001 as one example.

DDR333/PC2700 is harder to come by (although the article did not state this). However, they are available and can also be purchased on-line.
