There's really only one choice now - the new Radeon 9800 Pro (although the 9700 Pro can still hold it's own, and it's probably cheaper now). The new GeForceFX is noisy, expensive and can only just beat the 9700 Pro.

Thanks Andy.
But is Radeon compatible to any brand of latest model of mother board?
or what is the best combination of CPU, MAIN BOARD, AGP for gamer?
I agree that Radeon is very good ! But who will be its partner?
What MAIN BOARD and CPU can run together with RADEON without any problems (especially pc hang!) for office and gamer use?
I look forward to experts' advices.

I am using a radeon 9500 and a A7V8X and i have no problems since installing direct x 9.0a, so i would recomend this m/b to anyone. It also supports DDR400 as well, so its quiet a performer. when it comes to the CPU that depends on how far your funds can go. But if you want a pentium system i wouldnt know.

I THINK you should get the ELSA 9800SE of you are on a budget...its really fast...faster than sucky Geforce FX!!! its really good for overclocking and its cheap...just need to change the fan to a bigger one...

its an ATI RADEON WHAT CAN GO WRONG....

but if you have abit more money....get the GIGABYTE 9600 PRO...its really recomended... i am using this...GOSH ITS FAST i use it with a MSI K4AV motherboard and AMD 1.5GIG with 1 GIG DDR...VERY STABLE man...

if you have tons of money to waste...get the 9800 PRO....but its expensive!.... i got for the first choise or the second...cause you dun need the good one for MALAYSIAN RINGGIT1500...forget it..!!! thats like about USD300 plus....
