When using dual cards in SLI can I use 2 monitors or do I have to turn off SLI?
Do I connect both monitors to the top card?

Only one monitor in SLI..You need to disable SLI for more than 1 monitor

if you want to use multipul monitors just run SLI, and buy another (3rd) non-nvidia video card.. either PCI , or PCIe 1x if you have a 1x slot .. you can actually get an ATI fireMV pcie 1x (not cheap) that will run 4 extra display, that would give you five total
