Ok I just recieved my external charger for my Dell Laptop (motherboard problem). I charged up the battery and I tried to turn the laptop on. It was on and everything but the screen was black as night. I could hear every sound, click so I assumed it was only the screen that was messed up.
Now recently I have opened my laptop (not fully) and I think I touched something inside that caused the screen to black out. I think I detached the cable that connected the LCD to the laptop but i have no idea how to fully open the laptop and check what exactly is happenning.

Please Help me, Im desperate

PS: This board is GREAT by the way!

Do you have an external monitor that you could connect the laptop to? Does it show video on this monitor? If the laptop boots, you have an open ground at the A C connector area. If it doesn't, then you have to do more indept troubleshooting. Good luck.

Can you see anything on the screen at all? If its really dim, it could be the backlight is dead. If its nothing, then the LCD could be disconnected internally.
