Hello firstly. Id like to say i have a big heart for HWA as i started my overclocking adventure learning from you chaps.

I have spent the past few months building single phase coolers. I and a friend have now moved on to our first cascade which is nearly complete. ;)

Here are the pics

It will run using R404a Gas on the 1st stage and Ethylene on the 2nd stage. :P

That's nuts!

The big question, of course, is how fast does it go?!?? :P

Awesome dude... great job! Do you do this for fun, or you're in engineering related work-force?

Well, I think the answer lies in his profile:

E6400 @ 4.1Ghz (1.5v)
P5B Deluxe "VDroop Mod"
Gskill HZ 6400 @ 4-4-4-8 1100Mhz (2.25v)

Smartass :P I thought that was for single phase (still very impressive), not the cascade setup...

The E6400 in my Sig is under s single Stage System which is incorporated into a Coolmaster Stacker Case. :) "Check Sig Link"

The Cascade is just the cooler, speed all depends on what its used with,. It will be tuned to hold a Quad core CPU. I suppose a Dual Core would be in the range of around -90oC LOADED hopefully. This will be using R507a first and Ethylene 2nd. So will wait to see how it turns out.

I learned ti build the systems with a friend with just reading and some help from a few lads from the Internet believe it or not. I was featured in a magazine "CPC" several weeks ago.

Dont mean to paste all the links, "Sorry Admin". I hope to stick around some more here. I love this place. :)

Hey m8, good job. The radiator looks mighty similar to one I saw a guy build on XS I think.

Have you any pics of it in action, and hooked up to the processor?

You should try get your hands on a QX6800 or QX6700

/take ya long to build?

Hi Dublin,

the 1st stage is running nice and the second stage is under 300PSI pressure test. So ill give that a few days then it will be charged with CO2 for now unitl i take a trip to a friends to charge with Ethylene.

Yeah mate i want a new CPU to bench, new motherboard while im at it. I think ill wait to get a proven clocker instead of going new.

To build,. emm me and my mate around 20hours at a guess.

Well IDLE most certainly possible even when tuned for Quad core. LOAD i doubt a quad would collapse.

Again this is the exciting part, the compressors are MONSTERS. 1 and a 1/2 HP 1st stage and 1hp 2nd stage. so will be fun, cascade is ideal for preparation to bench with LN2.
