I'm not gonna bog you down with Small talk, I receive BSOD, as soon as I hit the desktop UNLESS I overclock the CPU & increase the voltage (ridiculous) but fair enough I'll deal with it OC'd.

The nxt problem is The PC's fine until I enter Cubase, Reason (Music Production Straight Out the Window), Or any Game. Theres normally a Screen lock up on the latest Driver (I mean Driver Parallel Lines) everything else gives a BSOD - with the followin message

"A Clock Interupt Was Not Received On a Secondary Processor Within The Allocated Time Interval"

I Assume I'm going to have to manually Play around with the Clock Settings in the BIOS, until I establish a working solution.....right?

Does Anyone else receive this Problem?

ATi Radeon X1950 Series (ridiculous capabilites)

You havent applied to AMD X2 patch, or the MS X2 patch have you? They deal with that exact issue.

You should also get the Dual Core Processor driver from AMD

Hmm, ok.

I'll have a look into it.

**edit

Its referring to the clock interrupt, NOT the clock speed.

I'm almost certain thats the issue the AMD driver refers to.

Ensure you have this installed:
AMD Dual-Core Optimizer

Yeah I've got that installed, I've been informed that it could be a temp problem

@ idle its sits @ 38 - 42 & when gaming it crashes @ 46

I'm thinking the clock interruption maybe due to the temp

46c isnt a worrying temp.

You could always try to re-seat the CPU heatsink to see if you can lower the temps a bit.

The heatsink.

It may not be seated correctly leading to the CPU overheating.

Take the heatsink off, clean the bottom of it & the CPU of any thermal paste, re-apply some thermal paste and reseat the heatsink ensuring there's good dolid contact between it and the CPU and ensure it doesnt move easily when clamped back on

The CPU is fine perfect in fact, I've added another fan nxt to the cpu & door panel is off so now the temps don't raise above 45, which is good but if i enter a game, try & process an image (in a graphic suite) or enter cubase / reason it freezes no more shutdowns just freezes.

Do you think perhaps one of CPU core has busted?
