These new adbureau banner ads at the top of the page, are just the worst so far. Not only are they stealing page focus, but they are expanding on their own without even a mouse pass over, let alone a click. Ya they just suck! You may as well start running floaters too.

What ads? On Hardware Analysis?

I never knew Hardware Analysis had ads until this one day when I had to use this old Pentium II system I have laying around when my videocard failed in my main system. That system has Windows XP (w/o any service packs or updates) and IE6 ;)

I'm using IE7 and seeing the same expanding ad on top. I'm already using this host file, http://www.mvps.org/winhelp2002/hosts.htm , which blocks all ads but that. In IE6, however, the ad on top is static.

IE7Pro, here I come. ;) Any other ad block util to recommend?

ya that or a full page ad that occurs right after clicking a topics link on here in IE7, that has a lame ass timer before you can skip the ad.
