they are like 50.00 cheaper then the msi 8800 ultra so for 50.00 extra is the ultra a lot better?

I'd just get the GTXs as well. The Ultra's ain't worth the extra money.

so with the 8800 gtx will it be able to run crysis at 100% full potential at 1240x1024?

Why? Dont say lack of support either. Because there is a plethora of support for 64bit Vista unlike 64-bit XP.
